Here we will visit the prison where members of the Hagana and Irgun were held captive during Israel’s fight for Independence. This is also where Leon Uris’s famous novel “Exodus” was filmed. We will return south and proceed to Megiddo, one of King Solomon’s walled, fortified cities (1st Kings 9:15; 10:26), with the ruins of 20 levels of civilization and identified as the site of Armageddon. After breakfast, we will drive around the Golan Heights to understand the strategic importance of the Golan Heights and Israel. We will first drive to the City of Tel Dan, which is mentioned in the Bible, describing it as the northernmost city of the Kingdom of Israel, belonging to the Tribe of Dan. The city is identified with the Tel known as Tel Dan. The Tel Dan reserve was first declared on 96 acres surrounding the Tel in 1974. The Dan River is one of the three water sources of the Jordan River that meet in the northern part of the Hula Valley. We will continue to Banias Springs, considered to be the largest spring feeding from Mt. Hermon and leading into the Jordan River. It is also one of the sources of the River Jordan and the site of ancient Caesaria Philippi. Here it is believed Peter made his confession of faith in Yeshua (Matt. 16:16). After our boat cruise on the Sea of Galilee, we will journey with our vehicle to Capernaum (Kfar Nachum), the center of Jesus’ Galilean ministry and the site of many of His miracles (Mark 2:4; Matt. 8:5; 14-17; 9:1-7; 17:18). We will visit Tabgha, the site of the multiplication of the loaves and the fishes (John 6:1-14) and the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered perhaps the most significant sermon ever preached – “The Sermon On The Mount” (Matt. 5). We will return back to our hotel via Yardenite, to see a baptismal site on the Jordan River and also have the opportunity be baptized (additional cost). We will return back to our hotel. Deluxe Jewish Israel Tours

Sunday, August 6 – Day 6: Jerusalem and Bethlehem
After breakfast, we will start the day with a short drive to the top of the Mount of Olives, for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Here, we will also see the Golden Gates and the ancient Jewish cemetery.
